Learn how technology is fueling the support for Black people all across America. We all intersect.

Get to know you fellow technologists in our networking segments. Hear from your local BIT Chapter leaders. But most importantly, ask questions and get real answers from one of the most important, yet unsung heroes and heroines of our federal government, the U.S. Census Department.

Every 10 years, the U.S. Government has the public mandate to count every person living in the United States. What an awesome responsibility!

The U.S. Census is especially vital for the Black / Sub-Saharan communities. The data collected informs how over $675 billion in public funding flows into historically Black colleges and universities, community services, health clinics, Head Start, and programs that support minority-owned businesses. Census results affect planning and funding for infrastructure and Section 8 housing. The results of this once-a-decade count determine the number of seats each state has in the House of Representatives, something that is extremely important to the Black community.

Learn from our expert panelists on digital marketing, social media, cyber-security, data management, and how technology teams lead such tremendous projects.
